By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking for police 1/3
protection to construct Sree Kaali Amman Temple at Theethanipatti Village, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.
3. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who accepts notice for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that a Peace Committee Meeting was conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukkottai District on 13.02.2020 and that both the parties did not obey the Resolution passed in the Peace Committee Meeting.
4. In the circumstances, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the sixth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above observation, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
