PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to renew the petitioner passport No.N8627452 on the basis of the petitioner passport application No.MD1076043911425 within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to renew the passport of the writ petitioner based upon his application No.MD1076043911425.

2. According to the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the second respondent, the petitioner has been implicated in two criminal cases in C.C.No.189 of 2015 and C.C.No.190 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanjavur.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned trial Court seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of 4(four) weeks. Based upon the orders to be passed by the concerned trial Court, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
