By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the respondents.

3.The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to quash the H.S.No.152 of 2006, dated 08.02.2006.

4.Mr.C.Susikumar, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner was a history sheeter in H.S.No.152 of 2006 and all the cases against him ended in acquittal. His further contention is that, at present, no case is pending against him and that the representation submitted by him in this regard evoked no response from the concerned officials.

5.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

WP(MD)No.1597 of 2021 representation submitted by the petitioner dated 16.01.2021 in accordance with law as early as possible.

6.With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
