Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks grant of electricity service connection. The private respondents herein raised objections. Without consent from the private respondents, pole cannot be laid on their patta lands. 3.I suggested to the learned standing counsel to explore possibilities of granting service connection to the petitioner by drawing overhead line without actual installation of any pole on the patta lands of 2/4

the private respondents herein. After inspection, it is submitted today ie., 16.10.2023 that it is possible to give connection to the petitioner by drawing overhead lines over the boundary lines lying between the agricultural lands of the respondents 3 and 4. The overhead line should be at a height of not less than eight meters. It shall not be drawn over the patta lands of the respondents 3 and 4. Subject to fulfillment of other usual formalities by the writ petitioner and bearing of expenses, the electricity service connection shall be given to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.
