PRAYER:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in S.No.103/25 of the Melamangalam Revenue Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District in light of the order passed by the District Munsif Court, Aranthangi in OS No.18/2005.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the land comprised in S.No.103/25 situated at Melamangalam Revenue Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District, in light of the order passed by the District Munsif Court, Aranthangi in OS No.18/2005. 2.Heard Mr.S.Ramsundarvijayraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Ramesh, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

3.This Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition for the simple reason that such prayer would not lie in the teeth of the order passed by the 4th respondent / the Tahsildar, changing the patta entries adverse to the petitioner in favour of third parties. Instead of challenging the same, the petitioner has adopted the contrived route through the constitutional remedy like this. 4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
