Prayer: Criminal Original petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to register a case for an alleged offences punishable Under Sections 420, 452, 294(b), 354, 323, 506(ii) of IPC and Women Harassment Act on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 18.12.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Murugappan For Respondent : Mr.Prabhu Ramachandran Government Advocate (Crl.Side)

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 18.12.2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the proposed accused cheated the petitioner and obtained a sum of Rs.50,000/-, when the same was demanded by the petitioner, the proposed accused assaulted the petitioner and also criminally intimidated him and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 18.12.2017, but sofar, no action has been taken. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that after receipt of the complaint enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed on 22.12.2017, as dispute is with regard to the money transaction.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner by way of reply has submitted that the petitioner has not received any information with regard to the closure of his complaint.

5.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to send notice to the petitioner by RPAD within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, with regard to the closure of his complaint.

6.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
