ORDER

Seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to give police protection for effecting a water connection to the petitioner's house by the 3rd respondent, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025, this writ petition is filed.

2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner herein, notice to the respondents 4 to 7 is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had obtained necessary permission from the 3rd respondent. Having obtained proper permission from the 3rd respondent as early as on 2/5

27.06.2023, so far, a water connection has not been given to the petitioner due to the interference of the 4th to 7th respondents.

4. The second respondent police is directed to put the petitioner as well as the 4th to 7th respondents on notice under section 64 BNSS and conduct an enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The petitioner is directed to produce a copy of the permission which he had obtained from the 3rd respondent, and being convinced by the same, the second respondent police is directed to afford necessary police protection facilitating the petitioner to obtain a water connection to his house. The 3rd respondent is directed to give necessary water connection to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
