ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the notice 1/4
issued by the first respondent, thereby calling upon the Petitioner to attend an enquiry to be held on 22.11.2021.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The petitioner is the landlord and the second respondent is the tenant. Both of them entered into a rental agreement, dated 31.01.2020 for a period of 11 months. While being so, the second respondent committed default in payment of rent payable by the second respondent for the premises which was rented out in favour of the second respondent. Now the period of lease has been expired and as such, no complaint can be entertained by the first respondent.
4.In view of the above, the impugned notice issued by the first respondent cannot be sustained and liable to be quashed and accordingly, the same stands quashed. The Writ Petition is allowed. There is no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
