ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to initiate appropriate legal action against the 4th respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The petitioner has lodged a complaint against one Samayamuthu, pursuant to which the respondent police have registered an FIR in Crime No.430 of 2025.

4. According to the petitioner, the 4th respondent was neither included nor arrayed as an accused in the said FIR. It is further contended that the 4th respondent assaulted the petitioner in front of the 4th respondent's house, which constitutes a separate cause of action. Therefore, the respondent police are directed to enquire into the said allegation and, if any cognizable offence is made out, to register an FIR in accordance with law. .
