This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the pending proceeding in O.Mu.No.7097/2023/AA4, dated 29.09.2023. 2/6
2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. According to the petitioner, she has made a representation to the third respondent on 25.09.2023, seeking to cancel the patta in respect of the Plot No.29 along with necessary documents. Based on the representation, the second respondent has forwarded a Memo vide O.Mu.No.7097/2023/AA4, dated 29.09.2023 to the fourth respondent to conduct enquiry. But till date no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the fifth respondent. 3/6

Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to dispose of the proceeding in O.Mu.No.7097/2023/AA4, dated 29.09.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the sixth respondent Ravi, who is residing at Velachery, Chennai, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
