ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case, based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 21.02.2018.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that when the petitioner was working at Dubai, he availed a loan from RAK Bank, Dubai and subsequently, he came to Madurai for taking treatment and that being so, on 09.02.2018 at about 09.00 a.m., one Saravanan contacted the petitioner through two mobile numbers stating that he is the agent of RAK Bank of Dubai in India and he threatened the petitioner to pay the loan amount immediately and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 21.02.2018, but, so far no action has been taken. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has submitted that the petitioner has sent a complaint to the first respondent by a registered Post and the same was forwarded to the Inspector of Police Tallakulam Police Station on the point of jurisdiction and the enquiry is still pending before the said Inspector of Police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the Inspector of Police, Tallakulam Police Station, Madurai is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
