ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to issue a non traceable certificate to the petitioner with regard to the missing original sale deed dated 09.12.1993 bearing document No.7593/1993, on the file of the Joint No.II, Tirupur Sub Registrar Office.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 14.10.2022 before the respondent police for missing of his original sale deed, document bearing No.7593/1993 dated 09.12.1993, but no action was taken.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's complaint dated 14.10.2022 is pending.

5. Considering the above, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and issue Non-traceable Certificate to the petitioner, after ensuring the said document has not been deposited for any purpose following the circular issued by the Director General of Police.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
