ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for SC/ST(POA) Act Cases, Tirunelveli to consider the petitioner's bail application on the same date of his surrender in Crime No.1 of 2023 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner is having seventeen previous cases, in which, three cases are registered under the provisions of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. 3.Considering the nature of the offences and also the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction at this point of time. 2/4

4.With the above observation, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
