ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) of IPC., in Crime No.Not Known of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 27.02.2018, when the defacto complainant was walking near his house, one Vinothkumar drove the auto and hit him, while the same was questioned by the defacto complainant, the petitioner and other accused entered into quarrel with the defacto complainant and abused him by using filthy language and threatened him with dire consequences. Hence, the defacto complainant lodged the complaint against the accused before the respondent police.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned

Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent on instructions, would submit that as of now, no enquiry/no case is pending against the petitioner.

4. The said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is recorded. Hence, apprehension of arrest does not arise.
