Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the counselling before the 2nd respondent selection committee and to allot the petitioner a seat in MBBS course in any medical college in Tamil Nadu within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the counselling before the 2nd respondent selection committee and allot the petitioner a seat in MBBS Course in any medical in Tamil Nadu within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2.The prayer sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted today, in view of the admitted fact that the counselling of the Medical Courses for the year 2020-2021 has already been over on 04.02.2021 itself. Therefore, this Court is unable to consider the claim of the petitioner, even assuming that the petitioner would have got admission, had he attended the counselling.

3.In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
