ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.376 of 2021 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that after completing the investigation in Crime No.376 of 2021, the respondent police filed the final report before the Special Court, Thoothukudi and the same was not taken on file so far.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the Special Court, Thoothukudi, to process the final report as per rule and liberty is open to 2/4

the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before the concerned Court, if he is still aggrieved by the Final Report.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 20.06.2023 Index :
