Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, by directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2021 and issue separate patta in the petitioner's name in respect of Survey No.212/8A1, in Plot Nos.27, 28, 29, 30, each consisting of 1200 Sq.ft situated at Vasantham Nagar, Dindigul East, Dindigul District based on the Registered sale deed Document No.874 of 2017 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking consideration of the representation dated 27.07.2021 and issue patta to the petitioner with respect to Plot Nos.27, 28, 29 and 30 measuring 1200 sq.ft in Survey No.212/8A1 at Vasantham Nagar, Dindigul East, Dindigul District. The petitioner had purchased the aforementioned property by way of a registered sale deed dated 12.07.2018 registered as Document No.874/2017 in the office of the Sub-Registrar, Dindigul.

2. Heard Mr.P.Manikandan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.John Rajadurai, Government Advocate who had taken notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The Plot Nos.27, 28, 29 and 30 purchased by the petitioner is part of a larger area of the land which have been subhttps://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. Let the petitioner make a formal application through online in accordance with the procedure and pay necessary charges as required and on receipt of the same, the second respondent/ the Tahsildar, Dindigul East, Dindigul District may examine the application given by the petitioner, examine the title documents of the petitioner and thereafter take a decision whether to grant patta or not grant patta. Either way, a decision may be taken within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a fresh application by the petitioner.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
