Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to modify the conditional order of deposit of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) before the High Court Legal Services Authority passed in W.P.(MD).No.1044
of 2025 dated 10.01.2025.
Prayer in WP(MD)No.1044 of 2025:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the 5th respondent and cancel the appointment order based on the Destitute Widow Certificate on the basis of the ptitioner's representation dated 15/05/2024. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and the earlier order of this Court dated 10/01/2025 in W.P.(MD)No.1044 of 2025, upon hearing the arguments of Mr.N.Madhava Govindhan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, Government Pleader on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, this Court made the following order:
In our earlier final orders passed on 10.01.2025, we had dismissed the Writ Petition with a cost of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) and had posted the matter today (23.01.2025) for reporting compliance. 2.
In this regard, the petitioner has filed an application in W.M.P. (MD). No.1196 of 2025 for modification of the conditional order dated 10.01.2025. 3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner made a sympathetic plea that they had by oversight failed to bring forth the disposal of the earlier Writ Petition and therefore, tendered his apology. Accepting the same, we are inclined to reduce the cost imposed by us on 10.01.2025.

Accordingly, the cost of Rs.1,00,000/- ordered by us in our earlier final order dated 10.01.2025 passed in W.P. (MD). No.1044 of 2025 shall stand modified as Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only). The petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) to the High Court Legal Services Authority within a period of one week from today. Accordingly, W.M.P. (MD). No.1196 of 2025 stands closed.
