ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner by way of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the absence of the petitioner's name in any FIR, the respondent police is continuously subjecting the petitioner to harassment. Hence, this petition came to be filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is the first accused in Crime No.376 of 2025 and an FIR was registered on 09.12.2025. During the course of investigation, it has been revealed that the petitioner had kidnapped the de facto complainant and had taken away his mobile phone. It is also alleged that two other boys had attempted to coerce the de facto complainant into developing an illegal relationship.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the fact that an FIR has already been registered as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition. The petitioner is directed to work out his remedy in the manner known to criminal procedure and in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
