ORDER

The petition has been filed, seeking a direction to quash C.C.No.90 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners have been arrayed as accused for the alleged offences under Sections 120(b), 420 and 506 (ii) in C.C.No.90 of 2014. Perusal of the report of the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai dated 03.07.2015, shows that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and further it shows that both the petitioners and the defacto complainant are the members of the same family.

4. Considering the mediation report which has been duly signed by both the parties and after perused the relevant records, this court is inclined to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.90 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
