This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.86 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent Police.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that charge sheet has already been filed and taken on file in C.C.No.12 of 2016 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam.

3.In view of the above submission, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
