ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 120(b) I.P.C. and Section 5 of TANPID Act, in Crime No.1 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was working as Assistant Manager in Tripura Chit Fund Ltd. at Batlagundu Branch in the year 2016. The said Company has collected huge deposits from innocent persons and thereafter, failed to repay the amount to the depositors. Hence, the present complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner did not commit any offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case and prayed for anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there are 20 accused in this case and only A10 and A11 were arrested and all other accused are absconding. If the petitioner is enlarged on bail, he will tamper the evidence and hamper the investigation, ultimately, the innocent depositors would suffer and prayed for dismissal of the Criminal Original Petition.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the amount involved in this crime and also considering the fact that if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, it will affect the course of investigation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
