By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking permission to conduct bicycle race and other sports events on 07.02.2021 at Vellure Village Post, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District.

3. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who accepts notice for the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the representation dated 19.01.2021 to conduct bicycle race and other sports events was submitted very recently and that after considering the same, necessary orders would be passed by the second respondent.

4. Considering the said submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.01.2021 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
