O R D E R
When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died during the pendency of the writ petition. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent corporation to assess the property tax with regard to the subject property in the name of the petitioner and issue tax receipt to the subject property in favour of the petitioner. Now that the petitioner has died, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.
2. If the legal heirs of the petitioner wants to get property tax assessed in their favour, they can make an independent representation to the respondent corporation and work out their remedy. This writ petition is disposed of with the above terms. No costs. 11.10.2023 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No RR
