ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 6(4) of TNSC(RDCS) Order 1982 and Section 7(1)(a)(ii) of Essential Commodities Act, in Crime No.2 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) pointed out that the petitioner is having very large number of cases to his credit which are of the same nature.

CRL OP(MD). No.1406 of 2020 petitioner has to necessarily surrender and apply for regular bail.

5. The criminal original petition stands dismissed, accordingly.
