ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking to quash the impugned order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.02/Kaa.Aa/Theva/ 2024 dated 18.01.2024 and consequently to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection for conducting Adal Padal Program.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he sought permission for conducting Valli Thirumanan, Palkudam Kavadi Eduppu, Pookuzhi Irangudal and for Adal Padal events, the Inspector of Police Devakottai Taluk Police Station, had denied permission on 18.01.2024 for conducting Adal Padal event. He therefore filed the present petition.

3. It is seen from the rejection order, dated 18.01.2024, passed by the second respondent, that the petitioner was permitted to conduct Valli Thirumanam and other events, except Adal Padal event. I do not find any infirmity in the orders passed by the second respondent. 2/4

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P is closed. NCC :
