ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to him.

2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that eight cases are registered against the present petitioner and that he did not appear before the police for enquiry. His further contention is that even in the representation submitted by the petitioner, he did not appear and on the other hand the second respondent appeared before the police for enquiry.

3.Recording the aforesaid submissions, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation given by the petitioner based on findings and on merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
