O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to make necessary entry in the computerized revenue records by including the petitioner's name in respect of the property situate in S.No.227/2 measuring 2.23.0 Ares in Patta No.783, Kattikulam Village, Muthanendhal Revenue Pirka, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District, within a time fixed by this Court by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2017.

2. Heard the arguments of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the above mentioned property has been in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner for the past several years. The patta for the said property was already issued in the 2/6

name of the petitioner as well as one Veerapathiran in Patta No.783. However, in the computerized revenue records, the name of the petitioner has not been found place in respect of the property in question. Therefore, the petitioner submitted various representations before the respondent seeking correction in the computerized revenue records by including the petitioner's name and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the last representation submitted by the petitioner was of the year 2017 and therefore, the petitioner may be directed to submit a fresh representation and the same will be considered by the respondents in accordance with law.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the third respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight 3/6

weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
