ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.757 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent dated 17.09.2017. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was working as front Office Assistant in the hostel, which is owned by the second respondent herein. He further submitted that the second respondent gave a complaint stating that the petitioner has misappropriated money to the tune of Rs.5,00,000/- and based on the said complaint, the first respondent has registered a case in Crime No. 757 of 2017 under Sections 406, 420, 294(b) and 506(i) IPC. He further submitted that the petitioner was not entrusted with any work to deal with money and hence the question of misappropriation does not arise. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that after registering the case, the second respondent appeared before the first respondent and gave a written statement not to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proceed further on his complaint and hence, the first respondent is going to drop further action on the aforesaid First Information Report.

4.Recording aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
