O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has come forward with this habeas corpus petition for a direction to the respondents to produce his daughter namely, Semmukil, aged about 17 years before this Court and hand over her custody to him.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would state that the detenue was secured on 03.02.2021 and she was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.144 of 2021 produced before the Mahila Court, Theni and after ascertaining her willingness, the custody of the detenue was handed over to the petitioner. It is also stated that one Kishore was arrested on 04.02.2021 and remanded to Judicial custody.

3.In the light of the above fact, we are of the opinion that the prayer sought for in the habeas corpus petition has become infructuous and hence, the same is dismissed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (AS) // True Copy // / /2021 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) skn Note :
