ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody since 17.01.2019 for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 307 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.14 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 17.01.2019, the accused way laid the defacto complainant and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with deadly weapon and gave a life threat to him. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Accordingly, he prayed for bail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is having 18 previous cases against him. Out of which, four cases are for the offence under Section 302 of IPC. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner is having 18 previous cases and since he is a habitual offender, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal original petition stands dismissed.
