O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in FIR No.12 of 2017, dated 23.11.2017 on the file of the All Women Police Station, Manamadurai, registered under Sections 498(A) and 406 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent herein has registered a case on 23.11.2017 in FIR No.12 of 2017, under Sections 498(A) and 406 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, but sofar, final report has not been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that after registering the case, the case records were transmitted to All Women Police Station, Melur and the investigation is pending there.

4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the Inspector of All Women Police Station, Melur, is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the aforesaid observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
