Mr.A.Albert James, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) O RDER This Petition has been filed to modify Condition No.1 in Crl.M.P.No.6736 of 2024 on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli, dated 16.12.2024.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the Court below while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner imposed a condition by directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- to the credit of crime number. It was submitted that the petitioner is now able to arrange only a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- and the same will be deposited. He further submitted that the petitioner does not have the financial wherewithal and hence, sought for modification of the condition.

3.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed by the Court below is modified and there shall be a direction to the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) to the credit of Crime No.624 of 2024 before the trial Court within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The balance amount of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) shall be deposited by the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The condition imposed by the Court below is modified to the above extent and other conditions shall stand as it is. Time granted by the Court below is extended by one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the petitioner shall comply with the condition within the time stipulated by this Court. 2/3
