ORDER
Heard both sides.
2.The Petitioner has come forward with this Petition to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by one Murugan, enquiry was conducted by the first respondent and subsequently it was closed on 31.07.2015 and he would further submit that there is no harassment on the part of the respondents Police on the Petitioner.
4.Considering the rival submissions made on both sides, the respondents Police is directed not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and follow the dictum laid down in D.K.Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR (1997) SC 610.
5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
