ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose the I.D.O.P.No.491 of 2021 pending on the file of the learned Family Court, Kannyakumari District at Nagercoil within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the revision petitioner, the marriage between the petitioner and respondent was solemnized on 14.12.2011 as per Christian rites and customs at Holy family Church, Carmal Nagar, Nagercoil, Kannyakumari District. Out of wedlock, they were blessed with a girl baby on 04.09.2012. The petitioner filed I.D.O.P.No.491 of 2021 for the relief of divorce. The case was periodically adjourned for cross examination of P.W.1 and the respondent failed to appear in the Court only with the intention to drag on the proceedings. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition is filed by the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioner. Since the revision is filed for seeking early disposal, no notice is necessary to the respondent.

4. Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, a direction may be issued to the learned Family Court, Kannyakumari District at Nagercoil, to dispose the case as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the learned Family Court, Kannyakumari District at Nagercoil to dispose the I.D.O.P.No.491 of 2021 pending on his file, within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
