PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the fourth respondent to allot the earmarked site abutting Tourism Plaza, near Kattabomman Statue, at West Veli Street -TPK Road junction for installation of the fish sculpture as per the directions of this Hon'ble Court by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 30.04.2025 and received by the fourth respondent on 01.05.2025 within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to allot an earmarked site abutting Tourism Plaza, near Kattabomman Statue, at West Veli Street -TPK Road junction, for installation of fish sculpture as per the directions of this Court, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 30.04.2025.
2. Pending writ petition, the fourth respondent has issued a proceedings on 23.01.2026, acceding to the request of the writ petitioner, wherein, a site 2/5
has been handed over to the petitioner Association subject to certain conditions.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that they are accepting the conditions imposed in the proceedings dated 23.01.2026 and the fourth respondent may be directed to provide full cooperation for the installation of fish sculpture.
4. Considering the above said facts, this Court directs the fourth respondent to offer full cooperation to the petitioner Association for the installation of the fish sculpture.
5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
