ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and grant necessary permission and provide adequate Police Protection for conducting the music festival and music competition on 24.01.2026, 25.01.2026 and 26.01.2026 as part of our State Minister Birthday Festival at our Vathalakudnu Village, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2026.
2. During the pendency of this writ petition the respondents have passed a rejection order, dated 20.01.2026. Since the petitioner wants to conduct the said programme only one day he approach this Court by way of filing this writ petition.
3. Considering the facts of the case, this Court is inclined to allow this petition with certain condition.
4. The rejection order dated 20.01.2026 passed by the respondents is set aside. The petitioner is permitted to conduct the said festival two days only on 24.01.2026 and 25.01.2026 from 04.00 p.m., to 07.00 p.m. The petitioner is further permitted to use sound 20 points over and above the minimum 10 points over and above the minimum decimal which is permitted by law. The respondents police is directed to provide police protection.
