ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner and his property situated in Survey No.522/4 measuring an extent of 76-1/2 cents in South Thamaraikulam Village, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2020 and 04.01.2021. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents has represented that the representation of the petitioner was considered and the same was closed. The copy of the closure report also served to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 2/4

3.Since already the representation of the petitioner was considered and the same was closed, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. The petitioner can workout his remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law, in a separate proceedings.
