PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kodaikanal to complete the trial pending in CC No. 19 of 2015 within a stipulated period as fixed by this Honourable Court. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kodaikanal to complete the trial pending in CC No. 19 of 2015 within a stipulated period as fixed by this Honourable Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the accused facing trial for charges 409 and 420 of IPC. He would further submit that for a false charge the petitioner was implicated in this case and thereafter he was dismissed from service and only after completion of trial the petitioner will be re-inducted in the bank. He would submit that CC is pending from the year 2015 and there are 11 witnesses in this case.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that there are 11 witnesses in this case and the case is posted to 17.02.2020 for examination of LW 1, 3 to 5.

4. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kodaikanal to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1604 of 2020 dispose the case pending in C.C.No.19 of 2015 within a period of four months from the next hearing date and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
