O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the representation dated 05.01.2023.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is facing charges under Sections 294(b), 323 of I(PC r/w 3(I)(r) & (s), 3(II)(V a) of SC/ST Act before the Special Court for Trial of Cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, Theni in SPL.S.C.No.9 of 2020. He further submitted that the one of the accused threatened the petitioner to withdraw the above said case. Therefore, the petitioner has made representation dated 05.01.2023 to the first and second respondent and the same was not considered so far. Hence, the present petition has been field.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the third respondent has received the representation of the petitioner and the same is pending for consideration.

In view of the above, the third respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.01.2023 and pass suitable orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the representation, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
