ORDER

The petitioner complains that he is being harassed by the third respondent police presumably at the instance of the respondents 6 to 8.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the official respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that earlier the petitioner moved this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1448 of

2019 seeking police protection to his life and liberty from the same private respondents and this Court vide its order dated 07.002.2019 directed the police officials to conduct enquiry on the representation / petition filed by the petitioner and to take necessary decision to accord police protection to the petitioner. In connection with that petition, his presence is required for enquiry.

4. It is unfortunate that the petitioner, who had earlier obtained an order of police protection in respect a threat perception, has now come with the complaint complaining that they are harassing him. The police official cannot keep holding enquiring and the responsibility assigned to them by this Court cannot be outsourced either.
