O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay leave encashment amount with interest to petitioner.

2.Heard Mr.T.Ravichandran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.The petitioner's entitlement for leave encashment is a issue, which requires to be dealt with by the concerned officers of the respondent Bank and it would not be justified in stepping into the shoes of the respondents for the purpose of considering the representation and to pass orders by granting leave encashment. Nevertheless, if the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the respondents with the consequential direction to the respondents to consider the representation, within a stipulated time, the petitioner's grievance could be met and thereby the ends of justice could be secured.

W.P.(MD) No.1732 of 2021 representation to the second respondent ventilating his grievance and on receipt of such representation, the second respondent shall consider the same as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
