Prayer: Criminal Original petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's family members on the basis of representation dated 21.02.2018.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner's family members based on the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 21.02.2018.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is now working as Gardener in Malayasia and his wife and three children are residing in his native place. He further submitted that one of the neighbor namely Dharmaraj has assaulted the petitioner's wife and hence, the complaint was lodged and based on that, a case was registered in Crime No.27 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 324, 506 (ii) and 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002. He further submitted that the petitioner is having apprehension that the said Dharmaraj may commit an offence against https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

his family members and hence he submitted a representation before the first respondent on 21.02.2018, but sofar, no action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the petitioner has sent a representation to the first respondent and the same has been forwarded to the third respondent and after considering the same, it was closed because, already a case was registered against the said Dharmaraj in Crime No.27 of 2018. 5.Recording the aforesaid submissions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
