Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying this Hon'ble Court to direct the learned III Additional District Judge (PCR) Madurai to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider the bail applications on the date of surrender in connection with Cr.No.272 of 2017 on the file of the Respondent Police.

Order : This petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the petition and affidavits and material papers of the petition and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.B.Jameel Arasu, Advocate for the petitioners and of MR.K.S.Durai Pandian, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondents 1 and 2, this Court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time granted to the petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9558 of 2017, in the order dated 09.08.2017.

2. This Court has earlier specifically directed the learned counsel for respondents 3 to 20 to inform the defacto complainants that the petitioners will surrender before the trial Court on 22.08.2017 and that on the date of surrender a further direction was issued to the learned III Additional District Judge(P.C.R.), Madurai, to consider the bail petitions filed by the petitioners in connection with Crime No.272 of 2017 on the same day, after hearing the respondents 3 to 20/defacto complainants on merits and in accordance with law.

3. Since there was no representation for the learned counsel for the defacto complainants, the petitioners are at liberty to surrender before the trial Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such surrender the learned III Additional District Judge(P.C.R.), Madurai, is directed to consider the bail petitions filed by the petitioners in connection with Crime No.272 of 2017, after hearing the respondents 3 to 20/defacto complainants on merits and in accordance with law.

4. This petition is allowed, accordingly.
