ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested on 24.01.2019, for the offence under Sections 417, 376, 294(b) & 506(ii) IPC in Cr.No.1 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.It is the case of the prosecution that on false promise of marriage, the petitioner developed relationship with the defacto complainant and he agreed to marry the defacto complainant in Palani Temple and thereafter, the defacto complainant and her family members went to Palani Temple, however, he was not came to the said temple. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit the petitioner did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he is an innocent person.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation is pending.
5.Considering the nature of the case and considering the fact that the petitioner cheated the defacto complainant's family by giving false promise of marriage, I am not inclined to grant bail to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
