O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the statement recorded by the respondent police from the petitioner, dated 21.02.2018 at Kanavilakku Government Medical College Hospital, Theni and take necessary action within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that on 20.02.2018, at 9.05 p.m, since the regular bus has not come, the petitioner along with some other persons stopped the Mini Bus which was driven by Dharmaraj and requested him to drop them in Kullapuram. All of sudden, the police official Durairaj along with two other police official assaulted the petitioner and he sustained grievous injury and subsequently, he was admitted in Kanavillaku Government Medical College Hospital, Theni. On the next day, the petitioner had given a statement regarding this incident before the police official at Government Medical College Hosptial, Theni. So far no case has been registered. Hence, this petition has been filed.

5.Considering the aforesaid submissions and the undertaking given by the petitioner for co-operation with the enquiry the respondent is directed to register the statement given by the petitioner for necessary action in accordance with law. 6.With the aforesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
