This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the impugned proceedings.

2. The defacto complainant has appeared before this Court through Video Conferencing and also before the first respondent. Her identity is confirmed by her Counsel as well as K.Baubynasuki, WHC-2839, attached to the All Women's Police Station, Marthandam. The parties have filed a joint memo of compromise. The defacto complainant does not want to pursue the matter. No purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. The impugned proceedings are quashed. This Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
