This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint, dated 15.12.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint preferred by the petitioner in Cr.M.P.No.551 of 2017, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sattur, the learned Magistrate directed the second respondent police to register the complaint and to investigate the same and submit a report under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. Pursuant to the above order passed by the learned Magistrate, the second respondent police has filed closure report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sattur on 27.02.2018 and the same was accepted by the learned Magistrate. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In the light of the above said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original

Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if necessary. However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is directed to serve a copy of the closure report to the learned counsel for the petitioner, if not already served.
