ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner, based on the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 06.03.2018. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the proposed accused persons abused the petitioner and also attacked with deadly weapons. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 28.02.2018, but, no action was taken and hence, another complaint was sent by post on 06.03.2018 and on that complaint also no action was taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has submitted that complaint was received by post on 06.03.2018 and the same is pending before the second respondent police for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law. The second respondent is also directed to consider the petitioner's request with regard to provide police protection.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
