ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.1858 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vadipatty Police Station, Madurai and quash the same as illegal as against the petitioner concerned.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners have illegally transported the Savudu Sand by using Tipper lorry without any valid license. Hence, a complaint was registered. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.op(MD)No.1564 of 2021 that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner never indulged in any such offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on 14.02.2021, the complaint has been presented before the learned Special Court (Mines and Minerals), Madurai.

6. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for further consideration in this matter. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to workout their remedy in the manner known to law before the appropriate forum. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
